Lorraine Naked 2: the search to find Britain’s most natural beauty
In February, ITV Lorraine is celebrating natural beauty with the launch of a competition - Lorraine Naked 2.
Following on from the success of Lorraine Naked last year, the show is looking for two stunning viewers to win the fantastic prize of being models in a TV campaign for a beauty retailer. The winners will also receive a makeover and star in a double page spread in a glossy magazine.
Lorraine Naked 2, launching week commencing 4th February, is all about celebrating people of all ages, shapes and sizes. So long as you’re naturally beautiful – so no make-up, botox or surgery - it doesn’t matter how big your bum is or how old you are - you’re still eligible to win.
On the judging panel this year is renowned model/photographer Penny Lancaster, top celebrity photographer Nicky Johnston who has photographed the likes of Nicole Sherzinger, David Beckham as well as Lorraine herself, and Red magazine’s beauty editor at large Rosie Green.
Lorraine Kelly said: “There are so many naturally beautiful people in the UK and this is a real celebration of those people who haven’t resorted to surgery and still look stunning when they’re makeup free. The competition is open to viewers of all shapes and sizes and judging by the high standard of entries from last year it’s going to be very difficult to choose the finalists!”
Penny Lancaster, who became a model after entering a modelling competition herself, said:
“I am so excited to be on the judging panel for Lorraine Naked 2 and especially with such a fantastic prize to be won - who knows where it will lead for the winners.
“I think it’s great to celebrate those who don’t use makeup or surgery to enhance their natural looks. I think the secret to looking good comes from inside and I’m going to be looking for people who really radiate confidence and beauty.”
Photographer Nicky Johnston said: “I’m really excited to be one of the judges for Lorraine Naked 2. I’ll be photographing the finalists so I’ll be looking for natural beauties who are confident and comfortable in their own skin."
Viewers can enter one of two categories - the 18 to 40 year olds or aged 41 and above.
Ten entrants will be chosen (five in each category) to attend a photography shoot with Nicky Johnston. He, along with Penny Lancaster and Rosie Green will then choose three finalists in each age category which Lorraine viewers will then be able to vote for.
The closing date for entries to the competition will be Friday 15th February at midday. The finalists will appear on Lorraine week commencing 11th March and on 14th March the winner will be announced.
