TONY BLAIR and HRH THE PRINCE OF WALES are both set to appear on ITV1’s new breakfast programme Daybreak during its first week of transmission.
Following the release of his new autobiography, the former prime minister will join Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley on the sofa on Monday morning to give his first live UK television interview since publication of the book titled A Journey.
On Friday, Daybreak will feature an exclusive interview with HRH The Prince of Wales. Adrian and Christine will interview the Prince as part of a week long special on his new START initiative national tour. Oscar winning actress, EMMA THOMPSON will also be live in the studio to talk about her involvement in the initiative.
Also in week one of the new breakfast programme, Chief Correspondent Richard Gaisford investigates how the dream of a new life abroad has turned sour for thousands of Brits; Dr Hilary Jones has an investigation into Britain’s benefits system. There’s the extraordinary story of a family reunited after more than 25 years; and Special Correspondent John Stapleton, will be bringing Daybreak viewers an exclusive investigation on day one.
