ITV commissions brand new Keith Lemon series – KEITH LEMON’S LEMONAID -  for primetime Saturday evenings

ITV has ordered a brand new family comedy entertainmentseries for the new year featuring Keith Lemon (aka Leigh Francis) as host.  Keith Lemon’sLEMONAIDwill see Keith tackling a variety of problems and helping dreams come true, aided by a different celebrity helper each week. The show airs for a 6 episode run starting early Spring2012.

Each week, Keith will meet real people with real problems and - in his own inimitably mischievous and anarchic style – he will seek to tackle those problems and turn them on their head.

Keith Lemon’s LEMONAIDwas commissioned by ITV’s Director of Entertainment and Comedy, Elaine Bedell and Commissioning Editor of Entertainment, Claire Zolkwer.  Claire said:“We're absolutely thrilled to be bringing Keith Lemon to the wider ITV1 audience.  He's been entertaining the ITV2 audience on Celebrity Juice for 6 series and his unique brand of naughty but nice is certainly going to bring some colour and fun to family Saturday evenings on ITV1.  It’s going to be proper bang tidy!"

The series is Executive Produced by Dan Baldwin, with Sarah Lazenby as Series Producer.
