7 NIGHTS

7 MILLION POUNDS

DO YOU FEEL LUCKY?

RED OR BLACK?

ENTER AT WWW.ITV.COM

ITV has commissioned a brand new TV event from ITV Studios and Syco TV called Red or Black? Hosted by Ant and Dec, the show will air on ITV1 and give ordinary people across the UK the chance to become millionaires.

Each night, over the course of a week, seven people will face a life-defining moment as they are offered the chance to walk away with £1 million, or nothing.  To win all they need is luck on their side and choose Red or Black?

The show will be stripped across the ITV1 primetime schedule later this year.  Each night we start with thousands in the Red or Black? Arena but only the lucky few will battle it out in the live studio to be the last one standing and the chance to walk away a millionaire.

The event starts this Summer as Wembley becomes the Red or Black? Arena, Ant & Dec will host and preside over spectacular challenges.  To enter, UK residents will be invited to apply for a lucky ticket online at ITV.com (www.itv.com/redorblack)

Each challenge at the Arena has a 50/50 outcome; if our lucky ticket holders can guess the outcome correctly they will be one step closer to becoming a millionaire.

The lucky ticket holders who make it through the Arena will join the Red or Black? experience at one of a number of locations around the country.  Once again, all they need to do is guess the outcome in more incredible challenges of chance; there are only two answers - Red or Black?

If they have lady luck on their side they will be one of the finalists who make it through to the last stage of the challenge, live in the studio.  Every night for seven nights, Red or Black? could make millionaires.

In the end, every night for our contestant, it all comes down to the spin of the Red or Black? wheel.  As the lights dim, we remind our finalists of every step they have taken to be there; we see them as just a face in the crowd at the Arena through each decision on location, to the challenges they have just played in the studio live in front of millions of viewers.  Now as they walk towards the wheel the question is asked for the final time, Red or Black?...but do they feel lucky?

Ant: “We can’t wait to get started on Red or Black and to get the whole country involved, it’s guaranteed to be real edge of your seat stuff. Seven people could become millionaires in front of our eyes, purely by luck”.

Dec: “It’s an exciting mix of spectacular events, thrilling challenges and millions of pounds. No skill, no talent, just luck, all you have to do is go to www.itv.com and enter. It’s going to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before”.

Elaine Bedell, ITV’s Director of Entertainment and Comedy says “Red or Black is a genuinely exciting new television event, offering the chance to change people's lives overnight.  Absolutely anyone in the UK can become involved and try their luck.  And best of all it’s hosted by Ant and Dec, and co-produced by the teams behind The X Factor and I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!”.

Kevin Lygo, Managing Director, ITV Studios said:  “Red or Black is ambitious, innovative event television and a fantastic example of the type of formats we want to produce more of for UK and international broadcasters”.

Simon Cowell, says: ”I am really excited about this show. We have worked on this idea for nearly seven years with James Grant Management and ITV. The great news is we are giving seven people across the UK the chance to become a millionaire every single night”.
