Unlucky Imran Patel missed out on his half-million-pound moment – but he’s not going home empty-handed thanks to the timely birth of his beautiful baby daughter.
Imran found out his partner was in labour just hours before he was due in the Red or Black? studio.
And while he was gutted to lose out on the big money prize, Imran was definitely still a winner on the night.
“I’ve had a couple of amazing days and this was an experience – but now I’m going home and I’ve got my baby to look forward to,” he said after crashing out of the contest.
“She would have had some good pocket money if I won it - but to be honest I just want to be the best dad for her.”
