Wales coach Warren Gatland said missed kicks cost his side dearly in the Bronze Final defeat by Australia on Friday.

Wales missed three attempts against the Wallabies and Gatland said: "We missed one or two easy ones and James O'Connor has kicked pretty well. That's probably been the difference."

But as the squad prepare to fly home on Sunday, Gatland said he was "proud of what we have achieved" at this year's World Cup.
