The offices of England Rugby 2015 are open for business and CEO Paul Vaughan is aiming to deliver the best Rugby World Cup ever.

England Rugby 2015 ambassadors Lawrence Dallaglio, Will Greenwood and Maggie Alphonsi were all at the newly refurbished Twickenham offices to mark the occasion on Monday.

Vaughan is aiming to deliver the best-ever Rugby World Cup, and although the tournament is more than three-and-a-half years away there is plenty to play for this season.

The four seeded teams at the end of this year will be the top seeds for the tournament: as things stand New Zealand, Australia, France and South Africa are the top four teams by ranking.

"Towards the end of the year the pool draw will take place - after the internationals - so the teams that are competing across this year will inevitably be looking for ranking points ... so it's all to play for during this year."

Lawrence Dallaglio said: "I know from my own experiences of playing in the Rugby World Cup, when we came back to England in 2003 with the trophy, what a huge impact that had on the nation, and in terms of the legacy, what that was able to achieve in terms of playing rugby and keeping people engaged in the game."

Vaughan added: "We want to achieve the best possible World Cup ever ... we've got to deliver our finance well ... and lastly we want to help Japan for 2019."
