Venue guide: Arena Manawatu
The Arena Manawatu showground, which comprises several sporting venues, was originally used during World War II to train local troops.
The FMG Stadium, home to Manawatu Rugby, has a capacity of just 15,000, making it one of the smallest venues at the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
The stadium was home to the first ever Super 12 match, played in 1996 between Wellington Hurricanes and Auckland Blues. In 2011, it will host two matches, both featuring Pool B underdogs Georgia.
