McLean Park, which dates back to 1911, is now home to all the major representative and international rugby union played in the Hawke's Bay area. It has also hosted cricket Tests and fixtures for the FIFA World U17 Women's World Cup.
The last few years have seen a major upgrade to the stadium, with a stunning new stand erected, plus a corporate hospitality complex. Two pool games will grace McLean Park in the 2011 tournament: France v Canada (18 Sept.) and Canada v Japan (27 Sept.).
