Trafalgar Park is one of the designated home grounds of local rugby outfit the Tasman Makos, in the city of Nelson on the South Island.

Thanks to upgrades in 2010, Trafalgar Park’s capacity has increased to more than 20,000.

The stadium, which is named after the Battle of Trafalgar, is set to host three Rugby World Cup pool matches: Italy v Russia (20 Sept.), Italy v USA (27 Sept.) and Australia v Russia (1 Oct.).
