Boxing, athletics and cycling have all taken place at Villa Park so it’s only right that this venue has been chosen to host two Rugby World Cup games.
Birmingham locals will be treated to fixtures including two of the great Southern Hemisphere sides - South Africa and Australia. As one of the oldest stadiums in the country, visitors will be able to enjoy a mix of heritage and modern facilities at the old Victorian amusement park. These fixtures could prove popular as both the Springboks and Wallabies will be expected to rack up big scores on their way to the knockout stages.
