THE CONTROLS EXPLAINED

What is this This indicates how much of the video has played. Slide the bar to move forwards or backwards	Choose where to start This shows where the ad breaks appear in the TV programmes	Extra features Change the volume levels (left icon) and switch to full screen mode (right icon)	Video duration This displays – in minutes and seconds – how much of the video has played and its total duration

New features of the enhanced Silverlight 2.0 player

Select where you want to start playing video content, and skip forwards and backwards
Total duration of the content is displayed
Supports Firefox browsers and Mac users (as well as Internet Explorer)
Skip whole parts of programmes. Only adverts preceding that particular part will be played
Once you have watched adverts within a particular part, skip forward and back within it without the ads being played again

WHY CHANGE TO SILVERLIGHT?

	For Windows Internet Explorer PC users:
Download Silverlight; the browser will prompt you to either run or save the installation file (Silverlight.2.0.exe). Click Run to start the download. When the download is finished, the browser prompts you again to run the installer. Click Run to start the installation. Note that you require administrative privileges on your PC to install Silverlight.

	For Windows Firefox PC users:
Download Silverlight; save Silverlight.2.0.exe to your hard disk. Once the download is finished, click Open. The installation will start.

	For Mac Safari users:
Download Silverlight; click on the link to start. Once the download is finished, the browser will warn you that Silverlight.2.0.dmg contains an application. To proceed with the installation, click Continue.

	For Mac Firefox users:
Download Silverlight; click on the link to start. Save Silverlight.dmg to your hard disk. Once the download is finished, click Open. Double-click Silverlight.pkg.

Windows Vista: You will be prompted for security permissions and will need to click Approve these to continue.
Click 'Install now' after reviewing the license agreement and privacy statement.
If you have had a previous version of Silverlight installed, or are using Mozilla Firefox, you will need to restart your browser.

Mac OS: Unfortunately Silverlight 2 does not support Power PC users. The installer will warn you that "This package contains a program that determines if the software can be installed." Click Continue.
* On the Introduction page, click Continue.
* On the Select Destination page, select the destination volume for Silverlight, and then click Continue.
* On the Installation Type page, click Install.
* You will be prompted to authenticate. Enter your Administrator user name and password. Click OK to continue.
* On the Finish Up page, click Close to exit the installer.
* Restart your browser and Verify
