Street History

2006: Employed as a barmaid at the Rovers Return and attracts the attentions of Steve McDonald                                                                                                                                               2007: Distraught to learn her fiancé Sonny Dhillon is bisexual and having an affair with Sean Tully. Falls out with her brother Paul upon discovering that he drov the cat that killed her husband Dean and that he lied to her about it. Brother Paul dies in a car crash. Starts a relationship with Steve McDonald and moves into the Rovers with her son Ryan. Is informed by Nick Neeson that Ryan and his son Alex were accidentally swapped at birth and she is not Ryan's mother. Upsets Ryan by getting to know Alex and inviting him to stay at the Rovers.

2008:Brother Liam is knocked down by a car & killed. Hurt when Steve behaves unkindly towards her unaware that he is being unfaithful.                                                    

2009: Discovers Steve's affair with Becky Grainger and moves out of the Rovers. Luke Strong and Peter Barlow vie for her affections before she goes on tour with her band.

Sleeps with hunky builder Jake after he falls from her roof.
