  • 2009: Cheats on Leanne Battersby, who leaves the area. Causes a fire at his flat while drunk and nearly kills Simon. Falls for Michelle Connor. Attends meetings to battle his alcoholism
  • Sleeps with Michelle Connor
  • Is delighted when Leanne returns and they get back together, promises his drinking is a thing of the past.
