VIDEO: Roy decided he’d had enough of Tony’s gifts and went to the hospital to confront him about his murder confession once and for all.

Meanwhile, Peter decided to allow George and his wife Eve to spend the afternoon with Simon. George told Simon and Peter that if they were happy to stay in touch with him he’d like to be a part of their lives.

Elsewhere, Joe’s dreams of going for a sail on the boat were dashed when David reminded him that Gail hated water after the canal incident with ex-husband Richard. Joe was left feeling a fool for being so thoughtless. Will he be able to persuade Gail to get over her fear?

Over at the hospital, Tony told Roy that he had confessed to Liam’s murder because he felt responsible, as Liam had died on his stag night.It didn't wash with Roy. Even Hayley pleaded with her husband to let the matter drop, but Roy told her he couldn’t. “You’re asking me to help cover up a murder. I don’t think I can do that,” he told his worried wife.
