Kerry Katona is NOT set to join the cast of Coronation Street.

Corrie bosses want to put the story straight amid speculation that she will join the soap. 

Television shows and websites have reported that the former singer has been in talks with producers, but a show spokesman said: “We have absolutely no plans to bring Kerry Katona into Coronation Street and have no idea where this story came from.”
