This is the bonny baby who plays Maria's newborn child. Little Logan Blake Pearson began work when he was just 5 days old and his first scene involved filming on a windy beach in Southport.

Logan and his parents Neil, 33 and Caroline, 26, live in Bury near Manchester.

Actress Samia Smith, who plays Logan’s on-screen mum Maria, is fond of her new little colleague, according to Neil. “All the cast seem to really like him. He’s a good baby,” he said.  

Baby Logan, who Maria names Liam in the storyline, has a chaperone while he’s filming which is usually his mum. His parents have really been enjoying their Corrie experience.

“It’s been really good,” said Neil. “We’ll see how he likes acting when he gets older. This has earned him a bit of money in the bank”
