Leanne and Jamie got engaged, but Danny developed a soft spot for Leanne and was soon sleeping with his son's fiancée.
Of course when their affair came out, Jamie dumped Leanne and disowned his father. Danny promised Leanne they would be together, but when he left her to go back to his ex, Frankie, Leanne got her revenge.
Before Mike's death, Danny had manipulated him into changing his will so that Underworld would be left solely to Danny. However, Leanne found an updated version of the will, which left the factory to Mike's other sons, Mark and Adam. Danny got nothing. Satisfied that she'd got him back, Leanne left Weatherfield again.
