10th August, 1993, when Essex girl Viv moved north with husband Vic Windsor and kids Scott and Donna and step-daughter Kelly.

Memorable scene  
- When Viv got imprisoned for marijuana possession while on holiday with Bob in Barbados. She later got off, much to the villagers’ dismay!
- Viv wasn't so lucky when fraudster Freddie Yorke framed her for charity fraud. She is currently serving a three-year sentence.

About the actress
Deena Payne went to Arts Educational Dance and Drama College and left in 1970 to do musical theatre including Bill Kenwright's Big Sin City, One Careful Owner and Noel Pearson's The Elvis Show. Deena was also in the original cast of They're Playing My Song in the West End. Her TV career began with a dancing role in The Hogmany show '74 and she's since gone to appear in shows such as The Bill and Tales of Sherwood Forest as well as Emmerdale.
