Nikhil arrived in the village on the 11th September 2009 as the new co-manager of the family business, Sharma and Sharma sweet factory. He and brother Jai and sister Priya were also the new residents at Holdgate Farm. Nikhil is the workhorse of the family and doesn't suffer fools gladly. He is constantly riled by Jai and Priya, who find it much easier to let their hair down.
Memorable moments
Finding out that his older brother Jai had actually bought the business from their father. Until that point, Nikhil had believed he was working for his father and his own inheritance.
