Four of the same for Boasson Hagen

Edvald Boasson Hagen made it four wins from four as he stormed to victory in Stage 6 of the Tour of Britain from Frome to Bideford.

The Norwegian prodigy, who will ride for Britain's Team Sky from next season, again made the most of support from the dominant Columbia lead-out train to clinch his fourth success of this year's Tour and stretch his lead at the top of the general classification.

Martin Reimer (Cervelo) was second while Russell Downing continued his fine form with third place. Boasson Hagen now has a 19" lead over Kai Reus.

"It's never boring to win stages," said Boasson Hagen.

"The team was working really, really hard. That was a strong group in front and hard to close, we had to begin chasing early because they worked very hard."

A 160km trip from Hatherleigh to Yeovil awaits the riders on Friday ahead of the grand finale in London on Saturday.
