Exclusive: Andriy Shevchenko confirms retirement from international football

Ukraine legend Andriy Shevchenko spoke to ITV football reporter Gabriel Clarke after his side crashed out of Euro 2012 in Donetsk, after losing 1-0 to England in Donetsk.

The former AC Milan and Chelsea striker revealed that this was his final competitive match for Ukraine, but that he might play one more friendly match if only to say "goodbye" to his many fans.

Sheva also gave his thoughts on England's chances in the competition, saying that "anything can happen" - as Chelsea proved against the odds in last season's Champions League.
