Carragher: Steven Gerrard could match Pirlo feats

ITV's Euro 2012 pundit Jamie Carragher spoke to us after England's painful quarter-final defeat against Italy. The Liverpool veteran said that his club team-mate Steven Gerrard - who he rated as England's best player at the Euros by "a long way" - could match the playmaking feats of Andrea Pirlo if he had as much time and space as the Juventus midfielder enjoyed in Kiev on Sunday night.

Carragher also talked about the prospect of working with new boss Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool FC next season. "We have to move forward now," Carragher said of the club as a whole.
