Premier League season preview: Fulham
Fulham
Manager: Martin Jol
Position last season: 9th
Ground: Craven Cottage (Capacity: 24,525)
Players in: Mladen Petric (Hamburg, free), Hugo Rodallega (Wigan, free), Sascha Riether (Cologne, season-long loan).
Players out: Andrew Johnson, Orlando Sa, Pavel Pogrebnyak, Danny Murphy (all released), Marcel Gecov (Gent, undisclosed), Dickson Etuhu (Blackburn, undisclosed).
Key man: Clint Dempsey. Provided the American stays at Craven Cottage amid interest from Liverpool, he will be vital to Fulham's push for a place in the top half. A haul of 23 goals in all competitions last year makes Dempsey the Cottagers' main attacking threat.
Chances: After a sluggish start following their Europa League campaign, Jol's side settled into form last season - but in an increasingly competitive league, a top-half finish may be beyond them this time around.
Where they'll finish: 13th
