Norwich City

Manager: Chris Hughton

Position last season: 12th

Ground: Carrow Road (Capacity: 27,220)

Players in: Steven Whittaker (Rangers, free), Jacob Butterfield (Barnsley, undisclosed), Robert Snodgrass (Leeds, undisclosed), Michael Turner (Sunderland, undisclosed).

Players out: Zak Whitbread, Aaron Wilbraham, Josh Dawkin, Matt Bell (all released), Adam Drury (Leeds, free), Daniel Ayala (Nottingham Forest, season-long loan).

Key man: Grant Holt. The burly striker's decision to stay at Carrow Road was a massive boost to the club. His goals will again surely play a huge role in the club's fortunes this season.

Chances: Following Lambert's move to Villa, former Birmingham boss Chris Hughton has been charged with safeguarding the future of the Norfolk club, who will do well to emulate last season's success, with consolidation the target at Carrow Road. Avoiding relegation may have to be the realistic ambition for the club, post-Lambert.

Where they'll finish: 17th
