Lampard disappointed by refereeing performance
England's goalscoring hero against Ukraine Frank Lampard said that decision to disallow Jermain Defoe's first-half goal came as a real shock to the side.
"I thought he'd pulled it back for a free-kick to us," Lampard told ITV's Gabriel Clarke. "It wasn't a foul at all so we're very disappointed with that."
And Lampard admitted that given the refereeing performance England can be happy with a draw.
"When you consider the circumstances we showed great character to get out of the game with a point," he said.
