Hodgson happy with England dominance

England manager Roy Hodgson tells ITV's Gabriel Clarke he was pleased with the professionalism his team showed to beat lowly San Marino.

"I think that it was attack v defence, it adds a new meaning to attack v defence. It's never easy when teams have ten men in the box, but I was pleased with how we played football.

"They didn't have one shot on goal. I think the crowd were cheering every time the goalkeeper touched the ball."

Hodgson also confirmed that Theo Walcott will remain under observations in hospital on Friday following a collision with the San Marino goalkeeper.

"He [Walcott] will stay in hospital overnight."
