Stand-in captain Wayne Rooney says he's proud to become England's fifth highest ever goalscorer after his two strikes against San Marino.
"Its a great honour for me, there's some great players in there, and to be in the all-time top five is something I'm very proud of."
Rooney was slightly disappointed that England couldn't add to their five strikes on the night against San Marino.
"We created some good chances, and the keeper made some good saves, and maybe some poor finishing didn't help. It's not easy when they put ten or 11 men behind the ball."
Team-mate Danny Welbeck also netted twice, with the first coming from a sublime flick.
"Once I get into those positions it is something I try to do to score goals, and this time it came off."
