Balotelli accepts City fine
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has accepted a two week fine from the club, and withdrawn his appeal.
The Italian had been ordered to pay a reported £340,000 fine for repeatedly poor on field conducted last year, and was set to take the Blues to a Premier League tribunal, but he now decided a against such action, and instead is having 'peace talks' with the English champions.
But a brief statement from City read: "After amicable talks between the parties, as a sign of respect for Roberto Mancini, the supporters and the club, Mario Balotelli has chosen to accept a two week fine levied upon him by the club and withdraw his disciplinary appeal, which was due to be heard by a Premier League panel today.
"Mario remains available for selection for all forthcoming fixtures."
