Dean Saunders has been appointed as Wolverhampton Wanderers manager after leaving his role at Doncaster Rovers.

The former Aston Villa striker replaces Stale Solbakken, who was sacked after Wolves lost in the FA Cup to Blue Square Premier side Luton in the FA Cup.

Despite only being relegated from the Premier League last season, the Black Country club find themselves struggling in 18th place in the Championship.
