Oldham boss Paul Dickov: You would have had to be daft to predict us to beat Liverpool

Oldham manager Paul Dickov admitted his side's 3-2 FA Cup win over Liverpool at Boundary Park was beyond his wildest dreams, and was "up there" among his greatest career achievements.

"I'm a positive person, a confident person and I really wanted to win, but if you'd told me last night we were going to win 3-2 I'd have said you were daft," Dickov said. "But that's the FA Cup.

The Oldham boss told ITV's Gabriel Clarke he was proud of his players, and singled two-goal striker Matt Smith for special praise, describing the 6'6 frontman as "unplayable".
