Lewis Holtby tells ITV's Ned Boulting that he always supported England, despite growing up in Germany, who he now plays for internationally.
The Tottenham man, whose dad is English, joined from Schalke in January, and has settled in nicely at White Hart Lane.
"Obviously, when you're dad is English, you support England, and we always watched the Premier League together. At Christmas I always got an England shirt," Holtby explained.
The Germany international also told us what it was like being brought up as an Englishman abroad.
"I always got stick when England lost from the other lads, especially during the World Cup."
