Oldham boss Philliskirk: Everton draw great for the club

Oldham caretaker manager Tony Philliskirk told ITV he was ecstatic to see his side earn a late draw against Everton.

The youth team coach has taken over first-team duties since Paul Dickov's departure from Boundary Park, and watched on as Matt Smith headed a last-minute equaliser.

"I am sure the board of directors will be delighted, as it's financially good for us," Philliskirk said.

"The way we played was very positive, and we looked like were going to nick a goal, and to get it with the last kick of the game is what dreams are made of."
