Bristol City striker Jon Stead is demanding a repeat of last season's late surge if the club are to avoid the pain of relegation from the npower Championship in May.
From early March last year City won four and drew six of their final 12 games to haul themselves comfortably clear of the drop zone
With 13 matches to play, starting with tomorrow's visit of another relegation-threatened side in Barnsley, another 18-point haul may be enough to save the Robins again.
Speaking to the club's official website, Stead said: "We put a good run together last season and we need to do the same again because we need to pick up points fast.
"We need to win so we stay in contention and hopefully make sure we get out of the mess before the last couple of games of the season."
