Tottenham game-changer Gareth Bale returns to the squad for Sunday's Premier League game against Fulham after sitting out the trip to Inter Milan due to suspension.

Winger Aaron Lennon should return to the starting line-up after he came off the bench in Milan following his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Former Fulham forward Clint Dempsey (calf) is expected to be available, but defender Younes Kaboul and midfielder Sandro (both knee) are out.

Provisional Spurs squad: Lloris, Friedel, Walker, Naughton, Gallas, Dawson, Caulker, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Holtby, Livermore, Dembele, Carroll, Parker, Huddlestone, Sigurdsson, Bale, Dempsey, Defoe, Adebayor, Coulthirst.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has an unchanged squad for the trip to his old club.

Steve Sidwell has shaken off a knock picked up since their last outing, a 2-2 draw against Sunderland a fortnight ago, and trained this morning.

But fellow midfielder Mahamadou Diarra is still missing with a knee injury which could rule him out for the rest of the season.

Provisional Fulham squad: Schwarzer, Somogyi, Etheridge, Riether, Hangeland, Hughes, Senderos, Riise, Dejagah, Baird, Karagounis, Kacaniklic, Frimpong, Davies, Richardson, Frei, Mesca, Enoh, Berbatov, Sidwell, Duff, Ruiz, Emanuelson, Rodallega, Petric.
