Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is confident that star man Gareth Bale will overcome his ankle injury in time for Sunday's home clash against Manchester City.
Bale has been training with the team for the last two days and should be fit, while Jermain Defoe also looks set to return after a pelvis injury lay-off.
Aaron Lennon (knee) has not trained with the squad yet, but Villas-Boas still thinks the winger has a chance of playing. Sandro (knee) and centre-back Younes Kaboul (thigh) are unavailable.
Manchester City pair David Silva and Sergio Aguero are doubtful for Sunday's Barclays Premier League trip to Tottenham with hamstring problems.
Playmaker Silva has missed the last two games after pulling up in the derby win at Manchester United while striker Aguero withdrew as a precaution at half-time of the midweek game against Wigan.
Following defender Micah Richards' successful return from injury in midweek, right-back Maicon (knee) and midfielder Jack Rodwell (hamstring) could also be in contention.
