Name: Christian Atsu

Position: Left-wing

Born: 1992

Club: Porto

Country: Ghana

Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu is a strong and powerful runner down the left flank, whose pace can leave full-backs for dead. He has impressed since Porto brought the 21-year-old to Europe from Africa back in 2011.

His vicious left peg has caused trouble for many sides in the Superliga, with many a goalkeeper quaking at the prospect of being faced with an Atsu shot coming at him. Despite the velocity he can offer, the Porto man can be a touch erratic when firing one in from distance.

Internationally, Atsu appeared at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations for Ghana, as part of the 13 caps he has picked up for his country, scoring three times.

Atsu's performances have brought interest from the Premier League, with both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool being linked with a summer move for him.

The winger's contract has a €10million release clause, but with only a year left on his deal, and the Ghanaian desiring a transfer to England - preferably to work under former boss Andre Villas-Boas at White Hart Lane - Porto could cut their losses sooner rather than later.

The Atsu situation is dicey. He has one year on his contract and if he signs a new one a new buy clause would be put there.

Ok so we after Christian Atsu. Met the guy when he was in RSA for the AFCON. Young & strong but I don't think his ready for the PL.
