Thiago Silva will stay at Paris St Germain even if coach Carlo Ancelotti leaves the Ligue 1 club, according to his agent.
Paulo Tonietto ruled out a departure for Silva despite Ancelotti being a key factor in bringing the Brazilian to the French capital.
"His (Silva's) future lies with PSG," Tonietto told L'Equipe.
"There's nothing else to say. He signed a contract just a year ago so there's no question of him leaving.
"If PSG wanted to sell, a lot of clubs would be interested in him. But for me, that would be a big surprise. His future is at PSG."
Silva signed a five-year deal with PSG after making the switch from AC Milan last summer and Tonietto emphasised that Silva would not follow Ancelotti and leave the club if the former Chelsea and Milan boss does move on.
"It's true that Carlo's presence (at PSG) strongly influenced Thiago. He was an important factor. But their destinies aren't linked.
"It's true Thiago would be disappointed if he left, but the life of PSG, and Thiago's will continue, even without Ancelotti."
