WOJCIECH SZCZESNY: Made a reaction save to deny Raul Meireles and pushed an Emmanuel Emenike shot onto the post after the forward surged by Bacary Sagna - 7/10.

CARL JENKINSON: Solid performance in defence and supported the attack well in a comfortable European outing. Denied a goal late on - 6.

NACHO MONREAL: Selected ahead of Kieran Gibbs, the Spaniard was kept busy by Moussa Sow in the first half but justified his place - 6.

BACARY SAGNA: Playing at centre-back again, the Frenchman allowed Emenike to sprint clear, but otherwise had little to do - 6.

PER MERTESACKER: Booked for a foul on Sow. Otherwise untroubled against an ineffective Fenerbahce attack - 6.

JACK WILSHERE: Was not his most influential, but there were a few moments of spark for the England midfielder, who was on the receiving end of some meaty challenges - 7.

THEO WALCOTT: Struck the crossbar with a free-kick and his pace caused trouble in behind the defence, but his final ball was poor - 6.

AARON RAMSEY: Showed a striker's instinct to follow up on a loose ball in the box and tuck it in before netting a second with an impressive half-volley. Went off before the end - 8.

SANTI CAZORLA: Excellent against Fulham on Saturday, the Spanish playmaker's influence was not so great on this occasion - 6.

LUKAS PODOLSKI: Looked lively in the first half and powered forward in the opening seconds of the second, but appeared to suffer a hamstring injury and was replaced - 6.

OLIVIER GIROUD: Scored three in three entering the game, but missed a straightforward opportunity from a Monreal pass at end of the first half - 6.

KIERAN GIBBS (on for Podolski, 49 minutes): Deployed on the left wing, assuming Podolski's position. Set up Ramsey's second - 7.

YAYA SANOGO (on for Giroud, 60): Was set up by Cazorla only to curl just wide - 5.

RYO MIYAICHI (on for Walcott, 74): A quiet outing for the Japanese youngster - 5.
