Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak has joined Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala on a season-long loan, the English club have confirmed.

The Ivory Coast international made his debut for the Blues under Roberto Mancini, coming on as a substitute in the 3-0 win over West Brom in February 2011, and has gone on to make seven first-team appearances in total.

Razak, who has played four times for his national side, has previously had loan spells with Portsmouth, Brighton and Charlton, while the 20-year-old is in line to face Tottenham in the Europa League.
