Hull welcome back Maynor Figueroa for the Premier League visit of West Ham on Saturday.

The Honduran left-back missed the 3-2 win over Newcastle due to personal reasons but is ready to play this weekend.

Robert Koren (broken foot) and James Chester (hamstring) are long-term absentees and Paul McShane is only fit for the bench, meaning Steve Bruce must choose between Alex Bruce and Abdoulaye Faye at centre-back.

Meanwhile, West Ham manager Sam Allardyce will welcome winger Stewart Downing back in to his squad.

The summer signing from Liverpool has been missing with a leg injury but is in contention to return at Hull, although Joe Cole (hamstring) is out.

He joins Andy Carroll (heel) on the sidelines whilst defender George McCartney will not feature despite making his long-awaited comeback from a knee injury in Tuesday's win over Cardiff.

Provisional squads:

Hull: McGregor, Harper, Brady, McShane, Faye, Davies, Rosenior, Elmohamady, Bruce, Boyd, Quinn, Huddlestone, Livermore, Meyler, Graham, Aluko, Sagbo, Proschwitz.

West Ham: Jaaskelainen, Adrian, Demel, Rat, O'Brien, Collins, Tomkins, Reid, Nolan, Diame, Collison, Lee, Morrison, Jarvis, Downing, Taylor, Vaz Te, Maiga, Petric.
