Poland stand between England and a place in next summer's World Cup in a repeat fixture at Wembley of some 40 years ago.
England's qualifying campaign for the 1974 World Cup was pretty disastrous and results in their group meant the Three Lions had to beat Poland, as they must on Tuesday night to be sure of World Cup qualification.
Before the match in 1973, outspoken ITV Sport pundit Brian Clough labelled Polish goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski 'a clown' in his analysis.
Tomaszewski went on to have a brilliant game and deny England the victory they desperately needed with a collection of fine saves in a 1-1 draw.
Despite Tomaszewski's man of the match performance Clough stuck to his guns and continued to label him 'a clown', to the annoyance of fellow pundit Derek Dougan.
