Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been passed fit for Tottenham's Europa League game against Sheriff Tiraspol despite being knocked unconscious in a collision with Everton's Romelu Lukaku on Sunday.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas says either Lloris or Brad Friedel will start the Europa League Group K clash, but he will not make that decision public until an hour before the game.

Defender Danny Rose (toe), midfielder Sandro (hamstring) and left-back Zeki Fryers (groin) are out while Villas-Boas says striker Emmanuel Adebayor will not feature.

Provisional squad: Lloris, Friedel, Walker, Naughton, Chiriches, Dawson, Vertonghen, Paulinho, Dembele, Holtby, Lennon, Lamela, Eriksen, Townsend, Sigurdsson, Bentaleb, Chadli, Defoe, Soldado, Kane.
