Guly do Prado will be out for two months after undergoing a knee operation, but Dani Osvaldo could be available for Southampton's Barclays Premier League clash with Hull.

Do Prado has missed recent games with a knee complaint and underwent surgery on Wednesday, ruling him out of the rest of 2013.

However, Saints could welcome back club record signing Osvaldo, who will be assessed after struggling with a nerve issue down his side.

Provisional squad: Boruc, K Davis, Clyne, Chambers, Shaw, Fox, Lovren, Fonte, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Cork, Ward-Prowse, Schneiderlin, Wanyama, S Davis, Lallana, Ramirez, Lee, Lambert, Rodriguez, Osvaldo.

Striker Danny Graham is back in contention after missing out against parent club Sunderland last weekend and defenders Abdoulaye Faye and Alex Bruce are back to fitness.

Provisional squad: Harper, Jakupovic, McShane, Faye, Figueroa, Bruce, Davies, Rosenior, Elmohamady, Boyd, Quinn, Brady, Livermore, Huddlestone, Meyler, Koren, Sagbo, Gedo, Graham.
