Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has lifted the lid on why he sold Mesut Ozil and suggested Arsene Wenger owes him dinner for allowing the German international to leave.
Speaking to the Times this week, former Chelsea boss Ancelotti explained it "was my decision. When we bought Gareth Bale it was difficult to find space for him, and he needs to play".
That hasn't stopped the Italian demanding some kind of recognition from Le Professeur, adding: "Arsene Wenger has to buy us dinner, as we gave them Ozil!
Meanwhile, Ancelotti believes Man City have the strongest squad in England this season.
"There's a lot of balance in the Premier League now," he said, "but in my opinion Manchester City have the best squad. Arsenal are doing well, but we helped them of course."
