Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil believes the English Premier League is stronger than La Liga and the Bundesliga.
The Gunners' record £42.5m signing has played for Real Madrid in Spain and Werder Bremen in Germany, but says the standard of football in England is stronger and more competitive.
Speaking to Four Four Two magazine, Ozil said:
"I've played in the world's three strongest leagues (Germany, Spain and England) so I know what I'm talking about.
"For me, the best league is the English one. It's very competitive and any team is capable of winning."
League leaders Arsenal host Hull City in the Premier League this evening, hoping to maintain a four point cushion over Chelsea, who visit Sunderland.
