A terrible weekend for Man United fans has got even worse today with rumours from Spain that Barcelona want to sign Robin van Persie in January.

The Dutch striker asked for a transfer request on Tuesday according to Mark Lawrenson, and was on the front cover of Catalan newspaper 'Sport' today, who claim Tata Martino wants to bring him to the Nou Camp (Sport)
