Manchester City will be without Yaya Toure and Gael Clichy for Tuesday's Champions League Group D away clash with Bayern Munich, but they do have David Silva back available.

Midfielder Toure is suspended and full-back Clichy (foot) has joined an injury list also featuring striker Stevan Jovetic and centre-back Matija Nastasic (both calf) but no longer playmaker Silva, who could return to action at the Allianz Arena after missing six games due to a calf complaint of his own.

With City hosting Premier League leaders Arsenal on Saturday, Blues boss Manuel Pellegrini has indicated he may give some of his players some rest time this week, and it certainly appears goalkeeper Joe Hart will start against Bayern in place of Costel Pantilimon.

Provisional squad: Hart, Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Demichelis, Boyata, Kolarov, Milner, Navas, Nasri, Fernandinho, Rodwell, Garcia, Silva, Aguero, Negredo, Dzeko.
