Tottenham midfielder Sandro could make his return from a one-month calf injury layoff in Sunday's game at Swansea.

Winger Andros Townsend came through an Under-21 game against Newcastle unscathed on Tuesday and could feature at the Liberty Stadium.

Defenders Jan Vertonghen (ankle) and Younes Kaboul (thigh) are back in training but will not be risked, while Paulinho remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

Dwight Tiendalli and Roland Lamah will return to action for injury-hit Swansea when the Welsh club face Tottenham on Sunday.

But Jonathan de Guzman, Nathan Dyer, Pablo Hernandez, Michel Vorm and Michu all remain sidelined.

Jose Canas is the latest addition to the injury list after damaging ankle ligaments against Manchester United.
