Luis Suarez has become Paris Saint-Germain's top target, as the French club want him to team up with Uruguay team-mate Edinson Cavani.

Spanish sports daily Marca claim the French side are willing to offer up to €42million for the in-form striker, but that sum is likely to fall well short of Liverpool's valuation.

The Reds are unlikely to sell their main man, but if the big-spending French club meet any potential clause in Suarez's recently-signed £200k per week deal, then the former Ajax forward might be tempted to depart Anfield for guaranteed Champions League football, but with Liverpool well-placed in the Premier League it seems doubtful that any deal will be done.

As an attempt to make the transfer more desirable to the Liverpool hierachy, PSG are willing ot offer a player as part of the deal, with Javier Pastore, Ezequiel Lavezzi or Jeremy Menez on the table to be exchanged.
